KENNETH T. KIRKSEY, M.S.W, LISW-S, CEAP
Assistant Director (EAP Assistant Director)
Mr. Kirksey is in his 15th year with the Ohio EAP. He has a Master of Social Work Degree from the Ohio State University and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker - with Supervision designation (LISW - S). He is Certified as an Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP -1998). Mr. Kirksey is a graduate of the Franklin County Prevention Institute Leadership Program and the Ohio Department of Health's Leadership Academy. He also serves as a management representative on the State of Ohio Joint Healthcare Committee. 


MONICA S. HUNTER

Secretary

Ms. Hunter has been a professional secretary for nearly 20 years and a State of Ohio employee for over 6 years. Her expertise is in customer and administrative services, dealing with difficult situations, and computer communications. She is currently working on her degree in Administrative Support from Columbus State Community College.


ANDREW W. BENSING, M.Ed., CEAP
EAP Consultant
Mr. Bensing has a Master of Science Degree in Social Agency Counseling and has completed 24 hours of post-Master’s advanced clinical study. He has more than 37 years experience providing mental health treatment services and Employee Assistance services in a wide range of clinical settings and is in his 15th year with the Ohio EAP. Mr. Bensing is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).


DEBBIE L. SHUTT, B.S., LICDC
EAP Consultant
Ms. Shutt has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corrections and more than 20 years experience working in the mental health, chemical dependency and corrections field. Her experience has included working with both adolescents and adults. She is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC).


DAWN R. HEDRICK, MA, LCDC-III, NCC

EAP Consultant 

Ms. Hedrick has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Marshall University and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC-III) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has 17 years experience in working with both adults and adolescents in community mental health and criminal justice services. She has conducted individual sessions, group therapy and crisis management.

 


JYE L. BRECKENRIDGE, MSW, LISW-S, CTS

EAP Consultant
Mr. Breckenridge is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, with Supervision Designation (LISW-S). He obtained his Master of Social Work degree from Delaware State University, and his Bachelor of Psychology from Wesley College. Mr. Breckenridge is a Certified Trauma and Loss Clinical Specialist, and possess nearly ten years of providing mental health services to children, adolescents, individuals, and families.


MICHELE MCPETERS, BA 

EAP Consultant
Ms. McPeters possesses more than 21 years of human service program delivery to adolescents and families within the field of Corrections.  A graduate from The Ohio State University and Vision Christian Bible College, Michele holds a Bachelor's Degree in both Criminal Justice and Theology with a concentration in counseling.   She's experienced providing cognitive behavioral therapy with individuals and facilitating group discussions.  In addition, she has expertise administering assessments to determine appropriate treatment options, crisis intervention, and mental health referrals. Her extensive experience in the field of corrections has provided ample opportunity to administer assessments, service planning, individual and group interventions, as well as crisis management services. 

 


TINA J. KREMPASKY, MA, LICDC, CTTS

EAP Consultant
Ms. Krempasky has a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from The Ohio State University and is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) and Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS).  She has over 18 years of experience working with both adults and adolescents in both community and criminal justice/corrections settings.  She has conducted individual, couples/family, group and crisis intervention counseling.
