Fungal Meningitis Outbreak Investigation

The Ohio Department of Health and Ohio local health jurisdictions are collaborating with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other state and local health departments in the investigation of a multistate outbreak of fungal meningitis and other infections among patients who received contaminated preservative-free methylprednisolone acetate steroid injections from the New England Compounding Center.
