Colorectal Cancer Worksite Toolkit

Colorectal Cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer and the third leading cause of cancer death in men and women in the US. Increasing the use of screening tests can prevent the majority of these cancers and deaths.  In an effort to address these issues and to improve patient care and outcomes, the Ohio Colorectal Cancer Coalition (OCCC) was formed to “ increase awareness about colorectal cancer in Ohio to help eliminate the disease through advocacy and action.” In order to provide education about prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer, the OCCC developed a Resource Toolkit to help employers raise awareness to employees about the importance of following Colorectal Cancer screening guidelines.  Read more about the toolkit in an OCCC introductory letter.
