Hepatitis Surveillance Data and Statistics

The data sources below provide information on the reported hepatitis B and hepatitis C viruses among Ohioans. Infections that have not been reported are not represented in the tables.
The information shown, however, is a good representation of the patterns of disease in the population. These infections are tracked because they present serious risks to those infected and because spread can be controlled through safe behaviors and effective treatment of infections.
