All data presented in these tables reflect confidential reports of HIV infection and reports of AIDS diagnoses received by the Ohio Department of Health as of Dec. 31, 2006. Data are presented based on cases diagnosed as of Dec. 31, 2005. Due to reporting delays, data are presented with a 12-month delay for more complete reporting.

Data presented by selected characteristics and transmission category at the county level include:
persons living with HIV/AIDS as of Dec. 31, 2005 for counties with 10 or more reported persons living with HIV/AIDS; persons living with HIV/AIDS as of Dec. 31, 2005 by current disease status for counties that have 10 or more reported cases living with HIV (not AIDS) and 10 or more persons living with AIDS
reported HIV/AIDS diagnoses for the time periods 2000-2002 and 2003-2005 for counties that have 10 or more reported HIV/AIDS diagnoses in each of the two time periods or reported HIV/AIDS diagnoses for the time period 2003-2005 for counties that have 10 or more reported HIV/AIDS diagnoses in this time period but not the earlier time period; and cumulative HIV/AIDS diagnoses as of Dec. 31, 2005 for counties with 10 or more reported cumulative HIV/AIDS diagnoses

There are some counties that do not have any county-specific tables (counties listed below that are not underlined); however, the total case counts for these counties can be found in the Ohio Data by Selected Characteristics, Transmission Category, and County tables.
