Ohio Family Health Survey
The Ohio Family Health Survey is designed to obtain statewide, regional and some county level data on health insurance coverage, health status, health risk behaviors, access to care, health care utilization, health care costs, satisfaction with care and unmet health needs. Three rounds of the survey have been conducted in 1998, 2004, and 2008.
2008 Ohio Family Health Survey
The 2008 Ohio Family Health Survey is the largest state sponsored health survey in the USA. The 2008 survey is sponsored by the Ohio Departments of Insurance, Job and Family Services, Health, and Mental Health. The survey is being used to inform state and local policy makers concerning the impact of health care reform strategies on the State of Ohio and its citizens.
