The Ohio Department of Health offers a broad range of health statistics and databases to the public. The A-Z topics lists numerous types of health statistics available on this website. An overview of key databases is provided in A Guide to Selected ODH Databases. A Guide to Selected ODH Data Bases

A-Z Topics - A listing of information related to collecting and reporting of health statistics in Ohio.

Disease - Information about cancer, cardiovascular AIDS/HIV, chronic, infectious, and sexually transmitted diseases. 

Health Disparities - Analysis of racial and ethnic differences in health insurance coverage, health status, health risk factors, health care utilization, and access to care. 

Health Care Providers and Services - Health Care Provider/Health Care Service data: Health Care Provider Reports include demographic, bed and facility counts for all provider types such as Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Home Health agencies. Hospital Based Service Reports include both volume and outcome data for services such as obstetric and newborn care services, cardiac catheterization services, open heart services, transplantation services and pediatric services. 

Health Surveys - Data from several health surveys on health services, and health status are presented. 

Maternal & Child Health - Information on the maternal and child health population that are used at the state and local level to conduct community health assessments, plan programs and services for women, infants, children and their families in Ohio.
