Guard Care

Annually, the Ohio Adjutant General's Department and the Ohio Department of Health host Guard Care. Organized by both departments, the Ohio Department of Health works with local health departments to identify areas of need based on health data and health professional shortage areas. The two-day event allows the Ohio National Guard medical personnel to provide free health services in Ohio communities while providing training and professional development opportunities for members of the National Guard.

The 2017 Guard Care event is scheduled to be held in Madison and Union Counties.
