Medical Specialty Clinics for ChildrenThe Medical Specialty Clinic Program provides access to pediatric specialists for children in medically under served areas of Ohio. Children are pre-screened or referred to determine if they are in need of a specialist's services. Clinics are typically held in local county/city health departments; however, some may be held in speech and hearing centers, rehabilitation centers or hospitals. Presently there are five types of clinics that are held in more than half of Ohio’s 88 counties. These clinic types are cardiac, hearing, neurology, orthopedic, and vision. The map indicator will provide contact information for the counties that offer these clinics.
