The Economic Impact of the Health Sector in Rural Ohio, 2006

Released in June 2008, this publication by the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs assesses the direct and indirect income and employment contributions of the health care sector on local economies in rural Ohio.  The publication includes reports for each of the 79 rural Ohio counties, as well as summary reports for all of rural Appalachia, for all of rural non-Appalachia and for all of rural Ohio.
