YRBS: Youth Risk Behavior Survey The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) is a population-based survey of students in grades 9 through 12. Until recently, little was known about the prevalence of behaviors practiced by young people that put their health at risk. The YRBS, developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), now provides such information. The YRBS provides information on risk behaviors among young people to more effectively target and improve health programs. Last Updated: 05/29/2008 |
