Quality Management


The Quality Management (QM) Program promotes continuous improvement in our programs by meeting the Ryan White Care Act requirements for quality management. These requirements include: 1) measuring how well HIV health services meet Public Health Guidelines, and 2) developing strategies for improving access to quality HIV health services such as medical care and case management services. The QM program addresses key Care Act themes including:

  • Improved access to and retention in care. Quality of services and related outcomes. Linkage of social support services to medical services. Ability of the program to change with the epidemic. Use of epidemiology, quality and outcomes data for planning and priority setting.

    The QM program utilizes various activities and tools including: Needs assessment Collaboration and coordination, Client outcomes and satisfaction Data design, collection and analysis Surveys, reports and audits.
