Radon Licensing

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Radon Licensing program licenses companies and persons directly involved with the radon testing and mitigation industry. The program regulates contractors installing radon mitigation systems, mitigation specialists who design and supervise the installation of mitigation systems, radon testers, radon laboratories and the companies that provide required radon training. ODH ensures the safety and quality of radon services by requiring persons to take approved training that is specific to their radon-related activities and by inspecting/auditing the activities of the program participants.

New!  The Radon Licensing Program has added Frequently Asked Questions about radon testing in Ohio schools.
