The Ohio Surveillance System for Asthma (OSSA) has been collecting and analyzing asthma data in Ohio since 1999.  This data comes from various sources including:

  • Ohio Behavior Risk System Surveillance System
  • Ohio Family Health Survey
  • Ohio Medicaid
  • Ohio Hospital Association
  • Ohio Center for Vital and Health Statistics
  • National Asthma Survey – Adult and Child Follow-up Surveys
  • Ohio Youth Tobacco Survey
  • Youth Risk Behavior Survey

This data is available from the OSSA or in several publications attached here.
