The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) members are appointed by the director of health. The TAC consists of 10 members representing academia, the wastewater industry, contractors, public health professionals, soil scientists, engineers and the director's designee from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). The TAC provides recommendations to the director on the approval/disapproval of systems or components reviewed under this process. The TAC operates under the authority established in sections 3718.03 and 3718.04 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC).
