Dentist Enrollment Information

• OPTIONS gives you control over the number and type of cases you can accommodate in your practice.
   
• Referral coordinators screen patients for eligibility, provide referrals and handle the administrative tasks. The referral coordinators serve as liaisons between your office and the patient between appointments. Your volunteer time and assistance are spent solely in practicing dentistry.
   
• A recommended sliding fee schedule, with the ability to negotiate or adjust fees based on patient and dentist ability is provided.
   
• OPTIONS is a structured program that helps you “give back” to the community – right from your own office!  

Each One …. Treat One

The need for dentist participation remains high – many people are waiting to be matched to an OPTIONS dentist. There are areas of the state with few or no OPTIONS providers. General practitioners and specialists are needed throughout Ohio. If each dentist in Ohio treats just one patient, the number of people who receive needed dental care will greatly increase.
