Oral Health Data and PublicationsHow healthy are Ohioans when it comes to their oral health? Are Ohioans able to obtain the dental care they need? How does the oral health of Ohioans compare to people in other states and the nation? Answers to these and other questions help state and local health officials and dental professionals plan and carry out effective oral health programs and services. The Bureau of Oral Health Services (BOHS) collects and summarizes a variety of data related to the oral health status of Ohioans and the dental care delivery system in Ohio. Local Oral Health Data County-level data are now available on this Web site through the Ohio Oral Health Surveillance System. A profile of the oral health in each Ohio county includes numerous measures of oral health status and access to dental care. A profile for the state is available as well.
