Highlights of OPTIONS dentist involvement:
- OPTIONS gives you control over the number and type of cases you can accommodate in your practice.
- Referral coordinators screen patients for eligibility, provide referrals and handle the administrative tasks. The referral coordinators serve as liaisons between your office and the patient between appointments. Your volunteer time and assistance are spent solely in practicing dentistry.
- A recommended sliding fee schedule is provided, with the ability to negotiate or adjust fees based on patient need and eligibility.
- OPTIONS is a structured program that helps you “give back” to your community – right from your own office!
Each One …. Treat One
The need for dentist participation remains high – hundreds of people are waiting to be matched to OPTIONS dentists. Unfortunately, there are areas of the state with few or no OPTIONS providers. Both general practitioners and specialists are needed. If each dentist in Ohio treats just one patient, the number of people who receive needed dental care will greatly increase. Join the more than 900 Ohio dentists who already participate in OPTIONS by:
- Calling 1-888-765-6789 to speak with a referral coordinator.
