The Ohio Department of Health and the American Cancer Society (ACS) can give you more information about cancer awareness days, weeks or months. With its local units and Ohio Division office, ACS can assist you in developing cancer awareness initiatives by providing materials, volunteers and related events. For too long, Ohioans have considered themselves powerless against cancer. The bottom line is that there are lots of things we can do individually and as a community to reduce the burden of cancer in Ohio.
