Training on Medication Administration

House Bill 1 changed Ohio Revised Code 3313.713 to require that all school employees that administer prescription medication either be a licensed health professional or be trained by one effective July 1, 2011.  In response to this change, the ODH School and Adolescent Health-School Nursing Program created Medication Administration in Ohio Schools: Training for School Personnel which can be tailored to meet the training needs of your local school district.
