Preconception and Prenatal Genetic Counseling Services in Ohio

coupleOhio Regional Comprehensive Genetic Centers (RCGCs) provide preconception services for people interested in learning about their chances of having a baby with a birth defect or genetic condition before becoming pregnant. Genetic counselors can assess risks and discuss ways to improve the likelihood of having a healthy baby, such as taking a multivitamin containing folic acid before pregnancy.  Genetic counselors at these centers also provide prenatal screening services that assist couples concerned about their chances of having a baby with a birth defect or genetic condition.  In Ohio, RCGC preconception and prenatal genetic counseling services are available at the following locations.
