Hearing Aid Dealers & Fitters Licensing Board

The Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Licensing Board, in accordance with Chapter 4747 of the Ohio Revised Code, oversees the practice of fitting and selling hearing aids in Ohio. The Board is responsible for examining and licensing individuals and businesses that practice in the state, and for monitoring compliance with the Board’s law and rules.

NOTICE OF RULE REVIEW PROCESS – STAKEHOLDER FEEDBACK WELCOMED

The following rules of the Ohio Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Licensing Board are due for five-year review on or before June 1, 2013. The initial steps of the rule review process will include: seeking of stakeholders’ input, drafting of possible new rules, editing of existing rules, and the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for the Common Sense Initiative (CSI) - per Executive Order 2011-01K.
