Ohio FMNP Authorized Foods

Only fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs may be purchased with WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) coupons. Below is the list of authorized fruits, vegetables and herbs. If you are an FMNP authorized farmer and have grown produce that does not appear on the list, or if you have a question as to the eligibility of an item, please call Kadie Donahoe, Ohio Department of Health, at 1-800-282-3435.

Note that citrus fruits (i.e., lemons, oranges, limes, grapefruit, tangerines) and tropical fruits (i.e., bananas, pineapples, mangos) cannot be purchased with FMNP coupons. These fruits are not grown in this region. Additionally, pumpkins cannot be purchased with FMNP coupons.
