Public Records Policy
The Ohio Department of Health (“ODH” or “the Department”) recognizes that it maintains many public records that are used in the administration and operation of ODH. ODH maintains its public records in a manner that enables the Department to allow members of the general public to promptly inspect these public records and obtain copies of the records within a reasonable amount of time during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Those seeking copies of public records will only be charged the actual costs of making copies.ODH has a formal public records policy.
