We are now dealing with people, young and old, rich and poor who want to induce panic, make a point, get out of a test in school, or just be a nut. They are calling in anthrax threats in stead of bomb threats. We don’t know why they use anthrax. There are many other biologic agents that could be used. At this point, all threats in the US have been hoaxes. None can treated as a hoax until identification has been made.
