Notes:
Development of Bioterrorism Readiness Plans should include coordination with the FBI field office. The FBI may require collection of exposed clothing and other potential evidence for submission to FBI or Department of Defense laboratories to assist in exposure investigations.
Even with chemical exposure, the agent has bonded with tissue within a half hour and DECON after that time is primarily for health care provider safety. For chemicals, AGAIN, only water (soap and water is oily agent) is recommended for DECON. Clothing removal is the best DECON method going.
**Highest risk to health care providers after chemical exposure would be Off-Gassing (which DECON cannot touch.) Actually, supplies of chem treatments in Rx Stockpile are for HC providers (not victims) given their time of arrival.
