Notes:
The Divisional level is responsible for operations within a defined geographic area. It is between single resources, task forces or strike teams and the Branch level.
Branch level is functional or geographic in it’s responsibility for major parts of the incident. Geographic branches may be established by the IC to resolve span of control issues.
Groups are responsible for functional assignments such as search and rescue, inoculations, treatment, food establishment inspections.
A section is located between branches and the IC and is responsible for major functional areas of the incident.
