The Ohio Department of Health is committed to working with Ohio businesses to promote health and wellness programming within the workplace.  This mission is facilitated by the sixteen member companies appointed by Governor Bob Taft to the Healthy Ohioans Business Council. These companies were selected based on a proven commitment to providing health and wellness programs for their employees. Council members will work with other Ohio companies to encourage the creation of additional workplace programs. In addition, the council will oversee the development of the Healthiest Businesses in Ohio program which will recognize exemplary workplace health and wellness programs on an annual basis.
