The Ohio Department of Health (ODH), Bureau of Maternal, Child and Family Health is partnering with Cribs for Kids® and health departments thoughout Ohio to provide free Graco Pack 'n Plays® to families who could not otherwise afford them (while quantities last). Graco Pack 'n Plays® are certified as being compliant with Consumer Product Safety Commission standards; they are safe for all naps and overnight sleep during the first year of an infant's life. The Pack 'n Play is part of a safe sleep kit which also includes: a Pack 'n Play sheet, Philips Soothie pacifier, Halo SleepSack®, "Sleep Baby Safe and Snug" children's book, safe sleep DVD, safe sleep photo magnet, and safe sleep educational materials. In order to receive a kit, income eligible families must attend an educational class provided by their local Cribs for Kids® partner. In this session, the parent/caregiver(s) receives important education on safe sleep practices and how to properly use the Pack 'n Play for their baby. The following are the map and list of ODH-funded Cribs for Kids® partners; interested families should contact their local Cribs for Kids® partner for more information.
