Celebrate National Nutrition Month® in March

March is National Nutrition Month®! First launched by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (the Academy) in 1973, the month-long observance encourages people to make healthy eating a lifelong habit. This year’s theme is, “Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right.” Researchers have found that consumers are often swayed to purchase foods based on taste rather than nutritional benefits. During the month of March, the Academy will feature a variety of recipes to show Americans how to make healthy foods taste delicious!

Below you will find a few of our favorite recipes, some general nutrition guidelines and a special section just for kids! Make sure you stop by our Facebook page throughout the month for more healthy tips, recipes and other information surrounding National Nutrition Month®.
